Down To Earth is a family farm in East Central Alberta. A few years ago, they converted from a grain operation to custom paddock grazing and honey production. Why? Because of realization that the farm health is intimately linked to the health of the soil.

We worked with Down To Earth and collaborators Land Faculty to revise the Down to Earth brand identity, develop some packaging for their direct-sale honey, and put together a small website and newsletter system to help communicate with customers and collect orders.

Down To Earth Farm commits to keeping their bee yards on native prairie grasslands. This is to help give the bees a wider variety of plants to pollenate throughout the growing season. It also has the benefit of giving the honey a wonderful flavour that you won't get from many producers.
